全米桜祭り協会（ National Cherry Blossom Festival）よりオファーを頂き、2017年3月25日アメリカワシントンD.C.のワーナーシアターにて開催された開会式典で新曲”Portraits of Sakura – our memories of bloom”を発表させて頂きました。演奏はThe 6821 Quintet。昨年第1回上海アイザック・スターン国際ヴィオリンコンクールで優勝を果たしたヴァイオリニスト木嶋真優さん率いるThe 6821 QuintetメンバーとしてPianoも担当しました。
2017 National Cherry Blossom Festival Opening Ceremony
Mamiko was asked to perform at the National Cherry Blossom Festival opening ceremony on March 25th, 2017. There she debuted one of her new songs, Portraits of Sakura – our memories of bloom. She performed on the piano as part of The 6821 Quintet, led by last year’s first place winner of the Shanghai Isaac Stern Violin Competition, violinist Mayu Kishima.
