Ano Hi wo Mune ni ~ Hanshin・Awajidai Shinsai 23nen
Mamiko Hirai was in charge of the theme music for the NHK Kinki Block broadcast mini program Ano Hi wo Mune ni ~ Hanshin・Awajidai Shinsai 23nen (That Day in Our Hearts – 23 Years After The Great Hanshin Earthquake).
The mini program is a series of 1 minute segments of various residents in Kobe voicing their experiences on “that day” of The Great Hanshin Earthquake. The events of “that day” continue to be shared in an effort to overcome sadness and to bring together hope. Kinki Block is currently broadcasting these segments as a memorandum of the disaster.
